A cloudy , drizzly evening greeted the public who gathered to see the crowning of this year's Gala Queen.

The queen and her attendants were piped onto the stage by Vida Sinclair (Pipe Major) and   Alisdair Miller (Pipe Sergeant) of the band.

The Wick Band were also joined by members of the North Highland Juvenile Band for the evening parade of Floats  and individuals in fancy dress made their way through the main streets of Wick. Collecting money from the large crowd who turned out to support the event.
