Hundreds of people turned out at Wick Airport on Sunday 14th August to mark the county's official ceremony to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the end of World War Two.

The Wick RBLS Pipe Band, The North Highland Juvenile Pipe Band, The Thurso Pipe Band and the Caithness Junior Pipe Band along with a military brass band from the 51 Highland Brigade TA provided the musical entertainment. In addition dancers from the Elise School of Highland Dancing and a troupe of majorettes completed the entertainment.
