The Wick RBLS Pipe
Band led the annual Remembrance Sunday parade, followed by representatives from
the Royal British Legion Scotland (Wick Branch) and various military and youth
organisations within the county. During the service at the War Memorial,
Pipe Major Leslie Campbell
played the haunting and poignant lament,
Flo'ers o' the Forest,
after which the parade made its way to Wick Old Parish Church for the
traditional remembrance service. This was followed by the Lord Lieutenant of
Caithness and other Civic Leaders taking the salute as the parade marched passed
the Town Hall.
